Made of high-quality yellow polyethylene (HDPE, colour similar to RAL 1018), the hex plug with collar is corrosion-free, durable and resistant to many acids, greases, oils and alkalis. It is available in thread sizes M4 to M12 (standard or fine threads) and is suitable for both temporary protection and permanent closure of tapped holes.
Qualities The plastic hex plug with collar is used to securely close metric internal threads. Thanks to the collar, it reliably covers the threaded hole and protects the surface of the component. The hex head allows for easy installation by hand or with a standard hexagonal wrench. Please note the wrench sizes: BPE180 = AF 10 and BPE 186 = AF 13.
