Hex lock nuts

Description

Based on the standard hex nut ISO4032, this fastener also benefits from the addition of an un-threaded section on one end. The male thread cuts into this section allowing the two threads to lock together by creating an interferance fit, similar to a nylock nut.

Advantages

Manufactured in polyamide (nylon) as standard, these nuts are lighter than steel.

Qualities

Light weight and non corrosive with good mechanical properties.

usage

Secure fixing that reduces the effects of vibration on the screw-nut fastening.
